Due to the increasing demand for FNCT and AFNCT testing according to ISO 16770, Becetel decided to purchase an additional FNCT tensile creep tester from IPT Institut für Prüftechnik Gerätebau GmbH & Co. KG.
The new equipment is highly complementary to the one already in use. Whereas the existing device, bought in 2021, has 6 different modules, each with its own test container, force monitoring and temperature control, this new device is equipped with a test container where different samples can be exposed to the same test conditions (soap environment, temperature). Needless to say, force and time measurement are controlled per module individually.
Furthermore, a dedicated circulation system ensures that a constant temperature is present in the test tank for each test piece.
This additional capacity, in use from the beginning of 2024, makes we have in total 18 test modules at our disposition. This enables us to significantly reduce our lead times.
